While browsing pinterest, this art piece caught my eye. I love the way the little girl is drawn and how it the artwork itself is so captivating. I especially loved the retro dress she is wearing. That sent me on a quest. I wanted to see if I could find pieces that evoked the feeling of an illustration, print or artpiece. This was a sentimental shoot for me….my youngest wearing the exact same dress I did, just a year older than her, in my parents’ wedding. I wanted to cry from the beauty. Beautiful custom sash and headband by Bands By Design. Sophia is a pleasure to work with and her pieces are timeless.

Cady and I had a lot of fun with this shoot. We got permission to shoot in an abandoned house and after we were done the kids had stacks of pancakes to enjoy! Loved this!
